I was diagnosed as being bipolar and cannot find any help. I have recently had to change jobs because of a bit of a mental breakdown. It has taken me eight months to even find another job I am sometimes barely hanging on and feel very hopeless. I am taking medication which my doctor prescribed for me and they at least keep me functioning just not so well sometimes. I can see my medical doctor for meds but I cannot see a Psychiatrist or Psychologists without first meeting deductible which is 1000.00 dollars. I was trying different meds before with my doc. and seeing a therapist but things only seemed to get worse and eventually I lost my job anyway. I also lost my unemployment claim because I quit the next job I had after only one week. I am trying to hang on to this one but I feel very shaky sometimes. I recently filed bankruptcy and my husband and I are still trying to recover financially but do not think we ever will. I have already applied for food stamps but was told we make to much money and I also have tried various charitable organizations for help with some kind of therapy for myself so that I do not slip to far back into my disease and do something stupid like quite another job. It seems there is no help for me . The doctors ask if I feel I am a danger to myself or anyone else and I think they’re just interested in protecting themselves in case I hurt someone which by the way I never have and would not even consider. My biggest errors in control usually cause me a great deal of financial strain and sometimes the anxiety from making a bad mistake causes me so much emotional pain I cannot bear it.I do not know what to do anymore ! I pray about the situation all the time so while yes I do believe in God I’m not sure he can help on this one.

I am currently 5 months behind on my mortgage. Last June I have called bank of america regarding my situation. Telling them I am having trouble keeping up with my payments. They said they can’t help my at that time coz I am current with all my payments. Last September I started to miss my payments. They have told me to fax my pay stubs and hardship letter and they also interview me regarding about my finances so they can try to do a loan modification. Since September I had been bugging them of my loan modification status. Just yesterday I recieve a letter from bank of america stating that I am not qualified and they can’t help me with my mortgage problems. I called them and ask for the reason and demanded to talk to a supervisor. I told the supervisor why I had been denied for the loan modification and basically told them I need my mortgage payment lowered. The supervisor stated that since my loan is under the VA Loan guaranteed I am not qualified for the loan modification under the HOPE program. Is there anybody out there that have some ideas on what I have to do? Should I get an attorney? What is the best thing to do?

This year we went under on our home based business! We filed chapter 13 on September 15 2010! We filed on our credit cards and other non secured debt, but left our 1st and 2nd mortgages off! What I mean by off is that we would be paying directly to the lender and not through the trustee off the court! I thought that we were current with our first mortgage; I knew that we had gotten behind on the 2nd but caught up before filing chapter 13! To make a long story short I didnt find out until I went online and checked our past bank statements that we were behind on the first mortgage! We are still current on the 2nd but the first is looking at foreclosure! We did receive mortgage modification forms sent to us by the mortgage company the other day! We didnt ask for them they just them to us! My question is if the mortgage company decides to foreclose will this be grounds to have our chapter 13 dismissed?"

Dealership contract mistake?
I recently purchased a 2007 vehicle from a dealership through financing. Both dealership person and I signed the bill of sale after I put up a down payment. After 2 days, I went back and signed the papers to finalize the purchase. I also already have the ownership. But yesterday (2 days after the vehicle was delivered), the dealership called to say that they made a mistake and they need to redo the whole contract. They said that when they forwarded the application to the bank, they made a mistake on their date input and had the car as a 2013 and not a 2007, which might have gotten me the lower interest rate. Now they want to redo the whole application, telling me that the amount financed, monthly payment, and interest rate will change for sure. I don’t know if this was just a typo on the bank’s side on their contract, or the dealership really made a mistake which resulted to the bank processing the application based on the error that the vehicle was 2007. What should I do on this case? Should I just go back to the dealership and have the rework my whole contract, and just suck it in if the figures change? Or should i stick to my guns and tell them that they made a mistake, they should pay for it. Literally. I already have the ownership that has the correct year make and model of the car."
